Taken (2008)
Taken is a 2008 action-thriller film directed by Pierre Morel and written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. The film stars Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills, a former CIA operative whose daughter is kidnapped while vacationing in Paris. The film was released in France on February 27, 2008, and later internationally by 20th Century Fox.
The story follows Bryan Mills, who is trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter, Kim (played by Maggie Grace). When Kim and her friend are abducted by a group of human traffickers shortly after arriving in Paris, Bryan must use his unique skills to rescue her. With only four days before Kim is sold into forced prostitution, he embarks on a relentless mission to track down her captors, employing his expertise in combat and espionage to confront the criminal underworld of Europe.
